Welcome to AutiParent International. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AutiParent website, mobile applications, AI tools, community features, educational resources, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the Platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies that may apply to specific features or services.
2. Eligibility
To create an AutiParent account, you must be at least 18 years of age or have the legal authority to enter into this agreement in your country of residence.
You agree that:
- The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- You will maintain the security of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
3. Advocate Programme
AutiParent Advocates are community members, professionals, parents, caregivers, educators, or individuals with lived experience who have been approved to participate in our Advocate Programme.
By joining as an Advocate, you agree to:
- Provide honest, respectful, and supportive guidance.
- Maintain professionalism during all interactions.
- Follow the AutiParent Community Guidelines and Code of Conduct.
- Respect user privacy and confidentiality.
- Avoid providing misleading or harmful information.
Advocate approval, suspension, or removal is solely at the discretion of AutiParent.
4. Session Bookings
AutiParent provides a platform that enables parents and advocates to connect through scheduled support sessions.
By using this feature:
- Booking availability is managed by individual advocates.
- Advocates are responsible for the quality and content of their sessions.
- AutiParent does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results.
- Payments are securely processed through Stripe or other approved payment providers.
- Refund policies may vary depending on the advocate unless otherwise stated by AutiParent.
AutiParent is not responsible for disputes arising from private interactions between users and advocates.
5. AI Features & Educational Information
AutiParent may provide AI-powered tools, recommendations, educational content, progress insights, and informational resources.
These features are designed to support families and are not intended to replace professional medical, psychological, educational, or legal advice. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals regarding diagnosis, treatment, medication, or therapy decisions.
6. Community Standards
We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Share false, harmful, or misleading information.
- Upload illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Violate the privacy or rights of others.
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or misuse the Platform.
AutiParent reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate access for violations of these standards.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Platform.
By posting content, you grant AutiParent a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the Platform.
You confirm that:
- You own the rights to the content you upload.
- Your content does not infringe upon the rights of others.
8. Intellectual Property
All Platform content — including logos, branding, software, design, graphics, articles, videos, AI technologies, and educational materials — is the intellectual property of AutiParent International or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, modified, redistributed, or commercially used without prior written permission.
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, storage, and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your information in accordance with that policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutiParent International shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or data
- Service interruptions
- Decisions made based on Platform content or AI recommendations
- Interactions between users, advocates, or third parties
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
11. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Breach community guidelines
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Misuse the Platform or its services
Users may also delete their accounts at any time in accordance with our account management procedures.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or community needs. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised Effective Date.
Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to AutiParent International's principal place of business, unless otherwise required by local law.
